Smithsonite – San Giovanni Mine, Bindua, Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy

Beautiful specimen of blue-white smithsonite with a characteristic pearly and botryoidal habit. The globular aggregates develop abundantly, creating an undulating and luminous surface that catches the light with great elegance. The matrix consists of brown goethite, which provides a pleasant chromatic contrast with the pale smithsonite.

The piece is in excellent overall condition, with well-defined and intact crystallizations. A good-sized specimen, ideal for both the collector and the mineralogy enthusiast.
